These are the CK's I have from Brain. The white one is about 1 1/2 months I think? And the black ones are close to 2 weeks old

another way you might be able to get ahold of him - he is the person who puts together the lucasville swap days.

last spring i was at his house and i know he had just imported some from canada, but i dont know how well he done with them. he is pretty fair about pricing, but if the only thing he has is show quality (he is a judge) he gets $100 a trio for common breeds. if they are just descent breeder quality, the prices are usually 10-15 a bird.

i had a guy stop by and look at some of my started pullets, he asked me about trading. so i might have some EE eggs sorted for deepest blue, and possibly some black copper marans.

they probably wont be much more blue than yours. just selected for best blue color. i'll do my best to have hatched in time for the swap, if he comes through.

I am still waiting to see what my EE lay, crossing my fingers for blue!

I have a few marans just need to see what they end up being as long as those day critters leave them alone. Have 4 black, 2 Blue and 1 white one left and a blue copper rooster. Can't wait to be able to sex what I got though. Hoping for some dark eggs but just in case I just ordered me a trio and possible getting some eggs so that in the spring I can start breeding and might be working on a polish project.
