Peaches, that must be so hard on your family.
Those of you who breed OEGB might know the answer to this, hopefully. If this chick came from a brown/red rooster and a Wheaton pullet (if I spelled that right)-would you think it was a male or female if it were yours? It's 10 days old. Is this to be expected from those 2 colors?

You will know by comb size at 3 weeks of age. Males will develop a more pronounced comb by then. From that cross I would not expect that result, the light leg, looks to have a duckwing type stripe on back, which does not exist in either variety, but then again wheaton restricts black very well.
