Hello everyone, I have been unable to post for a couple of days, some techno difficulty they are aware and working on it, the only way I can post now is to go through a different browser. Cool chick pics, and awesome coop to the new BYCer

The custard recipe makes 14 single cup custard cups. I make it once a week and that gives me 2 servings a day (Since learning how to cook off some liquid first I have developed a serious custard habit)

Been busy in the garden now guess I'll go to work for money instead of veggies.

I closed out of BYC, went to my computer, on internet options, I dumped all the temporary files, cached, etc., then set the pop up blocker to allow BYC, seems to have worked without having to use a different browser than Internet Explorer.
Got chickens ?

Googled Newcastle so have maps for getting to Newcastle auction from Shawnee on Hwy 9.
Once on 277 North to Newcastle...will there be signs?
130 is W. Fox Lane (E -W) and 277 North is same as Main.

May try to come....still debating driving at night....

Yes they will have a sign up. Sale bldg is right west of a little park on south side of rode. Sets right by the hwy. Very easy to find. Hope you make it.

I do sell the eggs...anything that can't fit in an incubator gets sold...I've been selling them on ebay, have sent some to NC, FL, NM, other places too...even had a guy drive all the way up from Amarillo, Texas for four of them last weekend...PM me for details

We're going to New Castle tonight, hope to see ya all there. Scoots asked me to bring some pickled quail eggs....so 300 eggs later, came up with 6, 1 qt jars. Some Jalapeno/Dill, just plain dill, and a couple bread and butter sweet eggs.....we're going to take mixed colors of coturnix hatching eggs too...hope to see a bunch of you there!
