I am sure you will fill like a young man in no time!

Ksane, I assure you it isn't my luck, lol. I just gather the eggs and deliver them to Carl. Any luck in hatching is on his part. I am almost scared to build our own incubator for fear we will mess the eggs up and some poor batch of chicks will pay the price. Thanks for the info on Sulmet. We ended up with loosing two (that we culled) to a respitory illness. Haven't lost anymore but dosed them all with Noromycin (well all the older babies in that pen) and doing Oxine in their waterers for all birds in that pen and around them. I am so glad we haven't lost anymore birds since the ones we culled on Monday. I was starting to feel like I let those poor babies down by doing something wrong in their care. All the birds in those pens will stay in quarintine for another 2 weeks to make sure. I was going to sell my cuckoo hens but since those chicks came down sick unlisted them until I am sure we won't spread anything to anyone else. Also changing how we do things at our house when someone comes to buy chicks. No more going to my pens to look at them. We will bring the chicks/birds for sale up to the house instead.

Therefore, Puppys aren't real dogs.

The mothers are careing for the puppys, so they're mothers, and not considered dogs.

Guard dogs are doing a job of protecting your flock, so they're employees and can't be counted as dogs.

Old lazy dogs are considered retired, so not in the dog system.

Tiny dogs are not real dogs because they're to small and considered ankle biters.

and long haired ones are dust mops, so not really dogs either.

I'd better quit now before I get in trouble here.

LOVE this!!!! I knew I did not have too many dogs! Over half don't even count as dogs.....doesn't that mean I can get some more now?
