Les you have been a busy man, I was getting alittle worried that you weren't around. Now I know you have been really busy. Anytime you have a place there is always twice as much work as you have time. Glad you are busy with work! We still have a fence to build here too. The horses have really gave it a work out over the last few years.

Al glad your wife is doing better. I know you will take good care of her.

For me the chickens are all washed and put to bed. I am ready to go myself but my UFC show has started so I want to watch.

Yes that is a bow tie. Teva likes her birds that way but I like mine with totally bare necks.

So why do NNs creep ya'll out but you don't mind looking at Turkeys? LOL

We have a little auction war going on around here this weekend, 3 auctions very close by all competing for the same group, so it will be interesting to hear the reports on Sunday morning. It would be fun and informative if we started a after auction report kinda like a radio farm report on beef and grain prices. Only ours would be Poultry, what they had, types, #'s and what the market was from auction to auction each month. I think all of us could benifit from something like that, we kinda do a little one on the Sunday after auctions. I think I may hit Cement this Saturday, it's close but on my way there I will peek in on Fletcher to watch the buzzards circle hehehehe.

Oh no!! So far ours don't get out often but it will always happen in the morning when I don't have time to spare to chase them down. Most of the time we can get the leader with feed and the others will follow thank goodness.

For me, when I see turkens, I am always a little shocked and surprised - chickens are NOT supposed to have naked necks. Turkeys aren't supposed to have feathers on their necks and heads, and I don't expect them to (but sometimes those snoods weird me out). It doesn't make sense, I know. I'm sure if I was ever around turkens it wouldn't bother me.

And, I just like giving you a hard time about them..

Hmmm, I'm looking at paperwork and the names aren't adding up. I'll leave that one alone.

I had remembered better lacing but lower wings. His price was was lower this time. I don't know. They might be the same birds. I've done my homework this time so I'm looking at them more thoroughly. Doesn't help that they are in molt either.

I think this pair will be nice for the Junior shows.

I was wondering if any of the many Okies that are going to the Fayetteville show might be traveling past Choctaw? I've got a very special package that need to be picked up. If it's not out of your way, please PM me.
