OMG ... biggest egg yet! (pics)

We have a hen that has been laying really large eggs, but today ... it barely fit in my hand.
I included one of our normal eggs for comparison.

Well so far no huge egg today ... maybe cooling off for a few days. LOL.
Still don't know who laid it ... nobody walking funny. LOL.
I'll bet that was an "EGG SONG" to remember.

That egg is about three inches long!

6 7/8" around. OH THAT POOR HEN.

I actually collect elephant things. Maybe one is missing. I'll have to do inventory.

It's also possible that there is an ostrich in the woodpile.

Turned out to be a double-yolker. Not surprised but still impressed.

Nice!! One of my hens lay really big eggs but none of them have been double-yolkers.

Yes. I have one that lays really big eggs too, won't fit in the egg carton, but this one was even bigger.
This one was from one of the other girls because the regular big egg was there too.
I hope for my hens' sake that she doesn't lay too many of those monsters, LOL
