Sure will and yes, they are $10! I can make the plain one I made for the fair - I'm calling it my Blue Ribbon cheesecake

You can add any sort of topping you want to it - fruit, chocolate etc or just leave it plain. I usually make it on a plain graham cracker crust.

Ok, sounds good! See you there. How will I know where to find you? Do you think you'll be there at 11am?

Yes, I'm planning on being there before 11am to help get some signs out (ChickBoss do you want me to make these?) and set up. I have a Silver Navigator, I'm tall with reddish blond hair

If I can find the name tags from the spring swap, I will have one on.

Zoomummzy~ If you could make the signs I would really apreciate it! I have been and will be going back and forth between home and Dallas, Or for the rest of the month as well as trying to fit in a camping trip for myself (momma needs a BREAK! LOL) this month. I've only been contacted by a couple of people so far that are interested in the Swap. I am thinking I will see if I can place an add in at least the local shopper paper or something. OH, and I would like my other cheese cakes to be your blue ribbon one. Then everyone will be happy. Do let me know though if you need me to make a sign I will do what I can. Thanks!

I am bringing both ordered cheesecakes and a couple different ones (other than the chocolate chip and plain ones) for tasting.

No worries Jedidah, I'll take care of the signs

And second cheesecake noted! As far as the nuts in the crust of the other one, it can be any type of nut you like - pecan, walnut, almond, peanut, cashew, etc. Just let me know by the weekend before which is when I will be shopping for all the ingredients.

Edited to say he can't make any nest boxes by swap time

He is too busy with work and our remodel project....so never mind! lol

I forgot, is this going to be a potluck? If so, I am bringing some of my chevre goat cheeses (pesto, cranberry/ fennel and possibly jalapeno or lemon dill), with crackers are gourmet breads and maybe my special iced tea?

Zoo Mummzy, is one pesto and one cranberry/ fennel good for you? I can either make you two very large ones of 4 small (then you can freeze half if you want).

Also adding a few birds to my available list-
one mature pair of blue Orpingtons- very sun bleached- look chocolate
one pair of silver laced sebrights

Would anyone be going to this from the Bend area? We'd love to send some of our project Dominique hatching eggs. We have too many young chicks right now to want to hatch out eggs, but I'm dying to see the product of our efforts! If someone wanted to take a couple dozen eggs for me, you could keep any $ you get out of them. We would just appreciate some photos and progress reports on the chicks.

We are unpacking from our most recent move, still can't find the camera, so no photos right now. I could probably get some together (even if I have to buy another camera!!!) before the swap. I can tell you that these are not show quality birds, though our main roo might have been if a **** RIR hen hadn't half chopped off the tip of his comb as a cockerel. At any rate, he's gorgeous and we can't wait to show everyone photos of the most beautiful roo on earth!

Anyway, they are beautiful birds and I think some of the chicks from the birds we have now could be really nice - we were looking for complimentary features in the hens and two roos we have retained. All are perfect for free-range egg wanters, these birds hardly eat chicken food - they much prefer scouring the pasture for bugs and other tid bits. We'll have hatching eggs available in larger quantities next spring, but we just are too busy with moving and everything now to worry about shipping eggs.
