My girls have been chasing Jack off every time he mates AND they’ve also started pecking Wilma (the only one he mates) after too!!! :lau

I think they’re saying to stay away from those troublemaking boys! :lau

Here’s some more pictures of the handsome man I just took today. :love

He's a good looking boy. He's got a lot of comb and wattle. Here he'd lose some of that to frostbite in the winter.

I just set my lavender Orpington hatching eggs under my big English buff Orpington hen. Hopefully I get a few out of them.

Thanks!! I think he’s filling out really nicely!!! And yeah, he really does have tons!!! Haha big earlobes too 😂🤣 he hasn’t gone through a winter yet (at least not with that development) so we’ll see how he does!!! But hopefully well haha

My buffs don’t have nearly as much as him. He’s got a turkey beard 😂🤣

And oooooohhhhhh that’ll be nice!!! :D

You will love them lol

Yours are so pretty. :love

This is my handsome boy.

He’s gorgeous! I just realized I have a lavender rooster I thought he was a “shredder” gene bc I bought two PULLETS guaranteed (or do I thought) and I’ve been calling him Henrietta but now changing to HANK lol and he’s just now 6 months old but HUGE and he doesn’t crow but cackles at me a lot when I come in to feed his harem lol He’s skittish too and wondering how to go about handling him bc I really want to hold him but he’s a runner lol New to lavenders but they definitely are one of the sweetest breeds ive ever owned.
