Part-way through my chicken/poultry journey

Update:
In other news we got some seedlings on Saturday and planted them on Sunday. We got corn,peas,beans,dill,blue pacifics, etc. basically we got a lot. We already have a blue Pacific but the bees are loving them so we got more.:)

Update:
Okay so we started on the quail pen, so far we have the coagulated metal on and are planning to put two small doors on each side this weekend so hoping to keep you updated on that.

We are also hoping in the future to turn this paddock into a bird/chicken place. We wipper-snipped and mowed half of it and laid down some chicken manure, so it can decompose better.

It was really humid today. I honestly don't know how Nanami stays on that nest! I always remove the eggs because I don't have enough room for chicks at the moment.

Update:
A family member has some quail and is wanting to hatch some, so he gave us thirteen eggs (one is cracked). We're going to put them under Nanami and see what happens.

Update:
I found one quail egg cracked. There was definitely something growing inside there.:)
I didn't have my phone on me before I chucked it.
