Pastel Call Duck fading feathers

Hi, my pastel call drake's feathers are fading. Nutritional deficiency or molting? Thanks

Are his feathers looking ratty and torn a little?

Not really. I have seen some feathers around. Mainly his gray head is much lighter than it used to be. Btw... His name is Mo!

I would think he's just molting. I have a khaki that turned extremely pale before she molted but after words she got her color right back. Also great name!
