Unfortunately I haven't had time to read through this whole thing, but @chickentrains and the fact that I just got a puppy (profile pic, golden retriever) have made me look into dog sports. I love love love the look of agility, but so far Finn (puppy) has been a pretty calm dog from what I can tell? I'm wondering if Rally would be better (seems easier than straight obedience).

Very true! And he may get more energetic later or be able to amp up for agility/sports and be calm at home
