I think tortoishell might be brander bronze with grizzle though.

Sorry, I meant kite bronze!
And it is it’s own gene usually on tcheck I believe and enhanced by the recessive red gene but the recessive red is unnecessary.

I love fluffy kite bronze birds. They’re just so… brown!
But brander bronze really are pretty, such a lovely reddish brown.
