Biff and Gill are officially showing nesting behavior. They were sitting together in one spot, then went down to the floor and Biff brought up a piece of straw (the floor is sand but somehow he managed.)

Awww, do you think Gill is actually a female or you’ve got a male pair? Back when I first started rescuing pigeons, all my male pigeons would fight with Kasper, the adolescent white homer, even though she was a female. I’m not sure if it was because she was an adolescent or just new to them.

I need to add formatting to my article.
It was copy-pasted google doc which was formatted, now it just looks like a lengthy block.
My male pigeons will lay on a spot and coo and flick their wings to indicate that they want their mate to lay an egg there.
Biff does that. I think Gill might? I can’t remember.

You should totally enter your article in the article writing contest once it’s formatted. That contest never gets enough entries.

I’m not sure if female pigeons do that behavior too, I’ve never seen my females do it, but I may have seen a video on the internet of a female pigeon doing it? I’ll have to see if I can find the video again
