My 11th training bird made it back.
Plus I have another pigeon that laid an egg. So if everything stays the same plus all eggs hatch I will be over my 50 goal in birds.

I started setting mine out even earlier than you. They were still being fed by dad. (4 or 5 weeks) I would set them out thru the Sputnik and let them check things out. (sitting on the ledge) They would only fly off onto the roof a few feet and return back to Sputnik as soon as hunger set in.

It has been cloudy and rainy today.

DD is in Hawaii right now and sent DAD a pix of a pigeon there. Said it is soo small it would fit in palm of her hand. I know there are only about 700 different species of pigeons around the world. I may be off on the exact number...

The aviary is ready for birds! Not raccoon proof so only for daytime use.

Bath pan and my stool.

Decor needed including perches.

It does give them room to spread out more.
