Pigeon Talk

Wow she looks pretty good. Maybe try looking up some of the duck angel wing threads too, for variable ways of wrapping it.
(Balls for sure, on that other thread! Lol)

:lau poor Boomer, gettin all the blame..:gig

I hope it goes well... Im a bit worried dh is backin out tho..:(

:barnie I hope not.

:lau
I think it may have something to do with the fact that the pheasants won't be leaving till sometime later this wk, if they go, and bringing home pigeons right now may mean building a loft, which he's not quite ready to start. He and ds3 are currently building ds3s bungalow and trying to finish it before winter sets in good... Maybe I should let it go... my heart just breaks at the idea of the pigoens being killed off, if that's whats gonna happen..:th

You can keep them in a small cage for a while. Mine are still in the cage I built, until I figure out where I’m going to keep them. If I sell the BCMs or vacate a bantam cochin pen, or what.

From the pic I can't see that its broken. Can the wing itself be wrapped without taping it to the body, so as to hold it in closed position and prevent it hanging down and dragging?

I may try that. It is hanging to the floor and it clicks if you try to straighten it. She's in real discomfort with it. I did manage to get two pillules into her though! Not a happy bunny! She's a bit stressed so I'm going to leave her be for now. Her crop is really full though. I don't think she's ever had such good food without having to forage for it!
