Such a fascinating breed! This is the first video I ever saw of them...Haven’t done any showing. Haven’t had them long. They are a thief type pouter.
How funny.. they seemed to enjoy their bath time...Such a fascinating breed! This is the first video I ever saw of them...

Looks and sounds like my boy (also caught with a broken wing). He will likely never fly properly, but he did get the use of the wing back so he can ninja chop, flap, and even flutter a little bit. I simply taped the primaries and secondaries together to keep the wing closed and off the ground until it stayed up on it's own.I may try that. It is hanging to the floor and it clicks if you try to straighten it. She's in real discomfort with it. I did manage to get two pillules into her though! Not a happy bunny! She's a bit stressed so I'm going to leave her be for now. Her crop is really full though. I don't think she's ever had such good food without having to forage for it!
Thanks. I'm going to try and do like a figure of 8 type bandage around just the wing. I can't vet wrap it around her as she gets her feet under the bandage and get stuck! Poor little thing. How long did yours take to heal? I'm reckoning about 3-6 weeks?Looks and sounds like my boy (also caught with a broken wing).
