They are 18"x14"x10". There should be plenty of space for them now! There are six on each side and I can always add more.....if needed!Wow! Love those nest boxes!

View attachment 1884898 View attachment 1884899 you can really see how the red is mainly on the tips of the feathers and its head and across it's back.
The second doesn't have nearly as much red and is mainly blue but with only a very slight tint of red and no bars. View attachment 1884900 View attachment 1884901

Are you sure it's kite? I don't know... maybe it's just the picture, but I don't see any bronzing on that bird.
How are your birds doing in their 'whole new world!?' WV? Are they flying a bit?

I also like the nest boxes. I might have to copy them.
I've learnt to duck when I go in now! I swear I was going anaemic I lost that much blood on that beam! I was thinking the same thing with the front of the nest boxes. The feed store I use has all the widowhood fronts but I'm undecided on whether to go for that or make some out of wood and dowling. Wire mesh will be a lot easier and quicker to install though.EXCELLENT LOFT and GREAT PROGRESS
I enlarged this pix and was forensically scanning it,

Joking aside,,, what are your plans for the fronts of nesting boxes.

This is how I made mine,,,,,, to keep Lil Junior from falling out when young. Worked well, and kept outsiders from entering into nesting area, and doing damage. (scalping).. Never had that happen BTW, but ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
Let me rephrase that,,,,,,, Gram of prevention better than a Kilo of cure

The nest boxes weren't that difficult to make. I used more wood than I expected though! I still have a lot of small things to do.Yes they seem to enjoy it and fly around the whole duck pen now. I only open it up for a couple hours in the evening, because I have to close the duck’s gate when I let the pigeons in there, and I don’t like to shut the ducks out while I’m not home. But a couple hours at a time seems to be plenty for them, as they end up back in their own section fairly quickly.
Wow you’ve done great. What’s left to do?
I also like the nest boxes. I might have to copy them. Now that I have more adults, I’m probably going to need more.
