You can probably get a band on up to about 10 days really but it is easier when there smaller as you have to bend/flick there back toe out from under the band.

Has the person you bought them from got some bands? If you could get a couple from them, then transfer ownership of the numbers.

Clip-on bands can be fitted on anytime, only the seamless bands have to be put on when the foot is small.

The rollers do (the ones that can't fly lol), but the Sats don't.
I did send him a message yesterday to tell him both squabs hatched. I got a thumbsup reply. He isn't very text savvy.

I wonder about banding a feather-legged bird. It might look odd. Would it interfere with moult? I never thought about it.
