Hmm. I'm not sure how aggressive peacock are. @casportpony might. But in guessing it wouldn't work. Can anyone tell me if a fantail could live in a large aviary with a couple of young peacocks?

You all have told me he can’t live with the chickens.Hmm. I'm not sure how aggressive peacock are. @casportpony might. But in guessing it wouldn't work.

In general circumstances the chickens can easily peck a sitting pigeon to death. You all have told me he can’t live with the chickens.
Here are 2 pix from a long time ago. When I had my first pigeon, I kept my Serama with him for company. They stayed together in perfect harmony. Serama was a hen.Does that bird fly at all?
I’ve seen lots of pics of chickens and pigeons together, but I think it would depend on the flock dynamics, and space. If the pigeon flys and has places to get up and away, I think it “could” work. Like maybe with some bantams.![]()
Bugsy, Breezy, and Duff are just so beautifulSomebody said I hadn’t posted updated pics of mine, so I just did a photo shoot.

.I don't think a fantail could live with peacocks. I have 4 youngish peacocks and they peck everything. Can anyone tell me if a fantail could live in a large aviary with a couple of young peacocks?
1 of the araucana eggs looks a bit iffy
but the last 3 araucana eggs are definately fertile!
(probably 3 cockerals!) I'll leave the other three for a couple more days and candle again. If there's nothing I'll remove them.Yay! Sorry about the other eggs.Speckle, my broody came off her eggs earlier, so I jumped in with a torch to have a quick candle. She been on them for 8 days now. Well my 2 Maran eggs don't look like they are fertile.1 of the araucana eggs looks a bit iffy
