Pipped in the middle..

Hi. It's me again. I now have a baby who pipped smack dab in the middle of the egg. She is on day 23 and was pipped when I woke up this morning. So at least 8 hours now. No progress. When do I need to help? It seems clear she is malpisitioned right?

I had one pip in the middle of the egg as well. But he was out with I half hour at most. So I can not tell you when to help. I have read a lot that say if you have to help the chick may not survive any way. So it is up to you.

I went in to help her and she was already gone. Fully formed and looked perfect, but didn't make it. Thanks for the advice all!
