See I had it at 40-45 originally and the air sac was huge and my sister started freaking out and read it should be in the 70s so we raised it really high. That might have been it
I would say that 70 is way too high.
I am sorry.

Also...is your last egg still standing up?
If it is you may want to lay it on it's side.

I’ve incubated upright and laying down both, but always lay them down for hatching. Just seems the more natural way to me, and I’ve always worried about low pips, or the carton blocking progress.
In some cases of small air cells, I would consider it, to try to prevent drowning, but I prefer to lay them down. Jmho

This is what happened to the other duck. He gave up about day 22 I believe. Sucks to come so close and get nothing. We found 4 more eggs so we have 5 we are now incubating. Not sure any of them are fertilized though. Is there a way to tell that before incubation?

Are these eggs from the same two ducks as you had before? If so, I think you can safely assume that they are fertilized. If not, the only way to tell is to crack one of them open and look for the bullseye. I am assuming that duck eggs show the same as chicken eggs but I do not hatch ducks so I am not sure.

Did you calibrate a humidity gauge yet? Keep a close eye on your humidity level this time.

Same female yes. Now over a month later than the first ones laid. We have two males so I don't know who the dad is this time or if they are fertilized. The one I put in a week ago does not seem to be developing but the ones laid in the past few days have just gone in.
