Please tell me this is not a rooster!

Maybe it is a chicken turning into a rooster because it can happen in nature sometimes. It happens when there is a need for a male. It happens in a few other species too, at least a species of fish I can't remember the name of.

It CAN happen in some species, but birds are not one of them. A hen can have issues with her ovary (they only have 1) and develop male secondary sex characteristics, they will get the rooster feathering, enlarges comb, and even sometimes crow, however they ARE NOT roosters, they cannot breed a hen and fertilize eggs.
