Oh my God! That poor mother! That poor child!!

And I say the poor mother because, regardless of how much that was poor parenting, mistakes like that can happen, and end up costing lives.

I am not having much sympathy for the mom right now, coming home at 2 am, drunk, and having been arrested for similar behavior in the past.

She does have to live with it, hopefully behind bars long enough to get her straightened out.

The guy that hit the child also has to live with it. The whole thing is just so sad. Bear Valley Road is the busiest street up here.
