Predators & Small pre-built coops

We've had predators come through, sadly & tragically lost our ducks, they didn't want to go into the 'shed' aka little barn aka coop at night.
Do predators just knock over these small pre-built or flat-pack or assemble yourself coops?

Depends on the predator. A bear certainly can flip a coop, or it would just smash it. A big dog might knock it over.

Most predators would go through the wire or dig under.

But it is always a good idea to secure a lightweight structure firmly to the ground against wind.

Those are made of a thin and very soft wood similar in feel to balsa wood. That makes the wire not hold well how the manufacturer attaches it.

If choosing to use one of those putting it inside a hoop run or chain link dog kennel helps a ton.

They are also poorly ventilated and hold 1/3rd to 1/2 the number of birds listed.

If you post pics of the "little barn" we may be able to help figure out a way to make it work better for you.
