Quail Hatch-a-long

Coturnix, this is batch 4 in 2 months and will have more going in right after. ( lost count of how many quail i have
But i can rightfully blame my husband
He got carried away with ordering eggs.

Working on it all. We have a bird dog do he does training with her too. We are kinda just getting started and in the prosses of fully moving to our house here in florida and gonna have a baby soon so the business side of it is going pretty slow lol

Really wish I could find some local quail eggs here in KS, I really want to hatch my own any suggestions on where I can look for them?

Really wish I could find some local quail eggs here in KS, I really want to hatch my own any suggestions on where I can look for them?

I got mine off of ebay. The two lowest priced options would be ebay or if you can find some on craigslist in your area, however both of those options give you a lot less to choose from. For small orders I would also check out Welp Hatchery, and Stormbergs. Privett hatchery has great selection too but they are probably better for larger orders.

I have a Button quail on eggs in the aviary. She's due around the 15th. She started sitting when her current babies were about 3 weeks old! They sometimes sit with her or hop on the eggs while she's having a break. She did the same thing as a little one, helping her older sister to sit on and raise her babies.

We are a very active family lol and we love it! But yes sometimes it is nice to just slow down.
