question i got some chicks from tractor supply little yellow chicks they turned out to be russian oroloff as they got older and changed color from what ive read there a rare breed not sure if they were a mistake sent from breeder or what. ive never seen any like them before. i have a dz

Orloffs are great birds that are fairly readily available through several hatcheries...and are becoming more common in the chick bins of many retailers as people start requesting more than the old standards. Unlikely that they were sent in error.....more likely ordered specifically or simply included as part of an ordered assortment
