Raerest breed

I think trying to find the rarest breed of chicken is like trying to figure out how many species are lost for every acre of rainforest we destroy. Since most of them will be gone before we even know they existed, there's no way of knowing what we are in danger of losing. It's a terrible thing, and it genuinely makes me want to cry, but there it is. We need to concentrate on preserving and strengthening what we have, while always being vigilant for the ones in danger of getting - or going - away ...
I was referring to more like know breeds but that are rare if u get me

You can find videos and sound clips of them on YouTube. They are SO impressive! My neighbors would SHOOT me!
I've heard their crow though long is not as loud as a regular rooster. Sandhill has the Tomaru longcrowers though they are usually unavailable. Must be you have to order a yr ahead on them. Someone on BYC has them also, know someone bought some hatching eggs, didn't hatch though always a gamble on shipped eggs.
I don't think those laughing chickens are available in the US, at least I've seen no evidence of it.

You said that right! Me too! Sandhill Preservation Center. I just got off their website a few minutes ago. Sure wish I'd found them earlier!
If you have any thought of ordering from them, carefully read everything on their site, they tell it like it is in plain English should be no surprises if you read how they operate. You'll have a wait, and not all their birds are SOP, nice people though.

I just got a breed of hen here and withen 10mims I had about 50 people asking to buy her so I'm guessing black orpington bantam is quite rare where I am
I actually don't see many Orpington bantams. I'm not really worried for them though.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I've been buying in all the wrong places
Sandhill is a good place to find rare breeds however I have heard that they can be disorganized at times, and you can wait a long time to get birds from them.
Just a courious question is it possible that there isn't a "rarest" breed rather it could be more of a group as in rarest breed"s"??
No? Yes?
Any opinions
There is no "Rarest breed." There are a lot of rare breeds.
