Red and White Fabric Strip Swap--Sign-up Deadline January 15th.

I thought it was a funky giraffe print.

For my red & white strips I put all 3sets into 1 bag instead of sending 3 sets of baggies with 1 strip in each (so 24 bags total, with 3 different strips in the bag). Tha way it's a lil less to sort in the passing back out. Tucked printed labels in, one set says "Saddi 6.5 I spy" in purple ink, other says "saddi" in red & pink inks for the red & white swap.

Sadly after checking 5 fabric stores I didn't find any pooh cotton, each had 2-4 pooh fleece prints, but no pooh for quilting.

Ok gang whatcha wanna do? I've got at least 2 people that aren't replying to emails or PMs about their strips. I don't know if I have enough Red/white fabric in the house to make up for those who aren't following through.

I've sent out notes to everyone I don't have strips from again today. If I don't get a reply back by this weekend, I'm just going to sort and ship out what we have.

Mine were sent, a little late, but they're enroute.

I'm fine either way, if you wanna toss in a few "mystery meat" strips cool, if not, missing 2 or 3 strips won't hurt me.

Hmmmmm "mystery meat" strips....I've got tons of them! Any fabric I get that is over 2 inches wide but smaller than a fat quarter, I cut into strips. I've got tons of others cut into this shape and that for future quilts.

Maybe pink? since pink is in the red>white spectrum? I found 3 really rich shades of reds, so something lighter and sweeter would contrast.

You should NOT have to make up the fabric for the "no shows". Just spread out what you do get and we will be happy to receive it!!!

Yup. 2 people haven't contacted me at all even after repeated email and PMs. There is one more that contacted me last week but I still haven't got theirs. I even told one person I would cut their fabric because they hurt their arm! Still no fabric!

I've got 4 people on a list that I will NEVER allow in another one of my swaps!!

Just let me know what the group decides. I have a great discount fabric store near me that carries most of the better brands of quilting fabrics. It just sometimes can be hit or miss on what they have in stock.

I've a 2yrd piece that's whole if you'd like to try and sort it out (since I thought I was the last one, I just bought 2 yards of another red after checking it was straight on the bolt, and sent that).
