Red and White Fabric Strip Swap--Sign-up Deadline January 15th.

I just wanted to let you know I had to get my ironing board out so I can iron them after I wash and dry.

I have a little one but that's not big enough to do 2 yards.

After I go to the PO I'm going to the fabric store and see what I can find.

Coyote, are you going to do a different color each month? I went to the fabric shop and spent over $50.00 again. How can anyone come out of one of those stores and not spend less than that?

By the way the fabric is in the washer now.

I think a multi-color would be great. I really don't have much to do with reds and whites mixed. I may try.......but right now I am going to sit back and watch on this one.

When is Easter this year? Was thinking of doing one of pastels for Easter. But the answer is yes, I'm thinking of doing different colors through the year. This is what I have so far.

April--Flowers
May---Patriotic prints

Summer Break--I've given up 2 summers being sick. This coming summer I'm not gonna be around because I will be camping or kayaking some place, lol.

August--Bold colors
September--Fall shades
October--Toys or Christmas prints

If we hit the close date in Jan and still have slots I can send 2 sets, but I want to give people a shot to hop in who wants to.

You know Coyote.....not sure if anyone else has noticed but I bought alot of fabric the other day and when I got home I noticed on the label that it was pre-shrunk.....so doesn't this mean that even if its not washed that when sewn together that if won't shrink on ya. I understand about washing the reds and all for bleeding, but if the fabric is already pre-shrunk does it wtill need to be washed?

Just a thought.....not trying to start a washing war here
