Rescued from Snow Storm...what am I? UPDATE Chickens were Dumped!!

I like that idea of shaking a can with feed in the woods, and yelling "Here, chick chick!"

Chicken still labored breathing as of 7:30 thismorning.

Went to look for others..no luck....

Came back...our chicken had died while we were out.

My daughters are torn up....

Oh, no! At least he died warm and inside rather than in a snowbank. Your wife did a wonderful thing.

I just don't understand people that could do that. My Rotty was dumped. She showed up at my place all dirty and thin seven years ago. Now as I sit here she's on my bed sleeping, and a little overweight too. So sometimes rescues work, ya gotta just keep trying.

I'm so sorry for the lose, it must be tuff on your kids too. I hope you find the others soon before someting else gets them. And atleast he died in a warm home where he knew he was loved.

I am so sorry, esp for your little girl. Poor polish chicken. What a horrible thing to do. It seems that I prefer my chickens over more and more people.
