As to the holiday...it was good up to a point. Got to see some beautiful forests, a stunning cave, historical sites, museums and antique stores but hubby came down with Covid in the second week so we had to isolate for 7 days. He was pretty miserable but not too seriously affected (he has had his 3 vaccinations) and was well by the end of his quarantine.
Luckily I didn't catch it so our plans for coming home didn't need to change.

Here's the view from the backyard of one of the places we stayed.

That’s a bummer that hubby got Covid. I’m glad it wasn’t severe and that you didn’t catch it, but it literally halved your holiday! I guess you’ll just have to go back for the other half another day!

Things got entertaining this evening. I went out before roost time. I opened the top door of the coop but left the bottom door closed. They were fascinated with what was below them.

This was a warning to me about what roosting time might be like.

It was amazing! So quickly she was already used to being touched.

Glynda wanted to roost with her so much she let me pet her as well. Crazy right!

Spoiler: Lady Featherington's Surprise

That's right, Lady Featherington roosted on my shoulder.

Of course Glynda had to join her.

I let them stay until everything below my waist was numb. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Me too Bob. I love how their bums waggle as they run. Olivia has this funny running hop & Shuri's whole body seems to wag. I think it's hysterical.

I'm loving her so far. She is my first though. Who knows what our future will be.
