I envy you, as every night I have been needing to adjust the girls in my least accessible coop. For weeks. I have installed a third roost, but still no luck. All my roosts are one level. It’s not even the two roosters that are the problem (yes two, I tried to separate them then gave up and moved the hens in instead), it is the three youngest chickens and my two bully girls. They are only three weeks younger than the other two new additions to the coop, who are 5 month younger than the original 6 ladies. I have watched my bully girl go from the back corner of the coop three roosts forward and to the opposite corner to knock the girls off the otherwise empty roost! If I adjust them once it is dark enough she doesn’t try it, but I’ve also had her come after my hand as I’m trying to get the three others off the floor.
