Ok if your dog kills a chicken tie the dead chicken around your dogs neck with rope (not tightly just to stay on) leave for 1 or 2 weeks and your dog will NEVER want to kill a chicken again. I sounds mean but, its better then putting your whole flock at risk.

I thought that was what you were going to say. Yup, I'll bet it works.. Good on you for having the stomack for it. I'd personally rather try something less stinky and messy. I would probably throw up on the dog several times during that week if I tried that.

Tying a dead chicken to a dog collar sounds both ineffective and depressing.
