I'm on the fence. This is a Lavender Orphington that hatched on March 3rd.
I've went back in forth, it's comb was always on the medium size. It matched my pullets up until maybe the last week or so. It's comb turned pinker than it has been and it's tail kinda sits up a little higher now. It's never crowed, and it's in a pen solo with a hen and it's never attempted to mount her.

It's brothers both have very large, bold red comb and wattles with obvious saddle feathers and thick legs. Much thicker than this individual.

I lean towards cockerel I guess...? I honestly can't tell.

He is a slow maturing cockerel. When I used to breed LAV Orps I would occasionally get a slow grower like your bird. Most times they would just get culled
Blah, he decided to be a boy right when I decided to downsize. Normally I wouldn't care, I've babied him along his whole life as he was always a bit slow and I grew attached. But unfortunately I've already got 3 fantastic Lavender breeding roosters. This sucks.
Thank you so much :hugs

It really does suck, but hey, it's also a good sign that you have a genetic diversity in your Lavender line

My Lavender line has had some issues lol. My first pure Lavender chick was malpositioned and is 6 months old, and the size of a bantam  So she's out of the picture for breeding. Lavenders and Splash are the only ones I'm breeding myself next year, they're a lot of fun. I'm really trying to pass on the friendliness and flock-caretaking genes of my King Rooster, he is the best rooster ever.
