My hatch on the 22nd should have some Nn chicks. I set some white leghorn eggs from hens that have been in with my Nn roo, oh and a few out of his Nn girls tooWell, 4 out of the 5 blue eggs have hatched out now, and I already moved those into my brooder. 2 of them have the NN's, and 2 have the fully feathered necks. I am going to keep the 2 that are the NN's, but will try to sell the other 2 locally. One of those fully feathered necked chicks is white, and the other one is sort of brownish-gray with a white spot on the back of it's head (so thinking the dark one will be a boy). These are from my White NN/Breese mix roo over my Crested Cream legbar hens, and any females will lay those light green eggs.
I have 2 of my tan egg's that are in the process of hatching now, and 7 more that I'm still waiting for to hatch. On these one's, I am hoping to get at least one clean necked NN chick.
