Sexing 4 week old bbs ameraucana

Hi, i have two ameraucana chicks, im thinking cockeral but im wondering if anybody else had similar looking ones that turned out female.
Black one charges at my gfs hand and look how pink he is

I’m thinking black is cockerel maybe . You can keep a rooster till it crows

Yeah i have somebody set up ahead of time to take any roos but im just so sad to let this little snuggly guy go. The white has a 3 row peacomb which doesnt bode well but is smaller and still quite pale in the comb. Fingers crossed my very first batch isnt all male

Heres them a week and a half later, im sure the black one is a boy but im hoping the splash is a pullet. Their combs are a bit extra pink because it was quite chilly out this morning and they came out of their hut for a drink... (or im in denial...)

I’d say the black is a cockerel and the splash might be too… just because that comb is a little big and red at that age. I’m not completely certain though.
This is my splash Ameraucana when she was around 6 weeks old. Her comb was still very small and pale.

I'm sorry, they are both definitely cockerels.

If an Ameraucana comb shows red before 3 months it's a sure thing. The ladies get pale pink at the most until POL.

@CaliforniaMountainChicks @SourRoses i took some new pics today when it was warmer out and the white definitely looks less pink, same color as beak still, but it sure is wide.

Both are cockerels ones just more dominant then the other
