Calling your doctor probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I mean it IS your child an all....

You're just making the rounds today aren't you.

How is he feeling this afternoon? This weather is not fit for anyone to get out in! I hope you all stay nice and warm and we all get through this cold snap! The snow is still falling steadily here in northern Missouri and no signs of letting up soon.

He's been napping most of the day, the Benadryl makes him sleepy and I hate that, but I think the rest is good for him right now.

The weather is realy bad and the snow is really coming down! SO bad that they have officially called school for the rest of the week, they haven't even gone back from Christmas vacation due to the snow.
I'm going to keep an eye on him and keep doing what I have been. I don't see the point in getting him out in this weather unless he gets worse.

I have been watching the news and wondering if KC is ever going to get back in school! lol Our school went back yesterday, but got out early today and I am sure there won't be any the rest of the week either. Just wait until the arctic front comes through, that should be fun.

I agree with most of the rest of them. If he isn't feverish or in any distress, keep doing what you are doing. Good Luck!

I think I have a cold too LOL I feel like MUD. Maybe I need to stay home too....my sinuses are bugging me, head aches off and on, tired, blah feeling. Nauseated off/on but not to the point of physically being sick.

Hope everyone stays warm in this mess that's coming/already here.

*nevermind about the honey... i didn't find what I was looking for when i googled.

oh...and we just went through 7 days of fevers here with my 2 girls... getting up to 104* at one point. I was to alternate children's supspension (liqued)--- ibuprofen (like motrin) with children's tylonol every 3-4 hours for the fever.

Since your child does not have a fever than the meds would be of no use unless you think he is in pain...ear tugging...

I was only to bring my children in if they were wheezing, hard to swallow, or were extremely lethargic.

Usually with post nasal drip comes the coughs. I would run a hot steamy shower and bring him in the bathroom periodically. Cold air humidifier at night.

It's all you can do and it is hard to watch your baby go through this.

hugs,
gretch

DO NOT give honey to a child under a year old.

Oops, I missed the age of the child. Sorry about that!

I figured that
