Should I turn my bottom pipper?

Thank you ever so much! I will leave it now as it is, but if it fails to respond at any time I will roll it over to assess. One egg pipped before it, one egg only this morning - I think if that one hatches fully before it and they don't end up rolling it for me then I will do it when I remove the ducklings. Hope that sounds okay.
If I get to a point I need advice on assisting is it better to post here or start a new thread?

Sounds like a good plan. You can do it here, or start a new thread, or there is a good "Hands-on" hatching tread with many excellent helpers that might catch it faster than a brand new thread. But totally up to you.

(the good thing about the thread above is the hands-off folks are outnumbered and usually stay out of it. lol!)

That will be a welcome relief ;)

Thank you for the link, I always seem to find ones that have died out a long time ago when I search for anything too specific. Finger crossed it doesn't come to that though :fl

That one isn't all that active anymore, but I know several of us still monitor it whenever a new person finds it. (used to be a lot of chit-chat, now its just kinda there for actual help haha)

Brilliant, thanks!
Just came to share a pic of this little guy, not the bottom pipper but the first pip, who's just hatched because why not ;)

Woohoo! Congrats! :clap

(dare I ask how the little wrong end one is doing?)

Well little guy did roll it over a bit but quickly rolled it back again! and then decided to curl up next to it blocking any hope of seeing what's going on down there! Very helpful of it :rolleyes:I'm hoping it means he's picking up on more activity in there than I can detect at least.
I am convinced I saw something move in the air cell a bit earlier. I think I will get my lolly stick out and just have another look as I did in my photo before posting this in case there's anything notable worth adding.
Well I spoke too soon, I will post a pic and you will see that it has now rolled bottom pipper into the perfect viewing position! :highfive:
