Should I turn my bottom pipper?

He does keep resting his head right on the hole so it's a bit hit and miss now if I get to see anything! 3rd pip is not far off hatching now so I'm using that as a distraction for now, looking over to BP every now and then.
Oh, scratch that - he's hatched now!!

I can't actually see what is in BP's hole, i can see the flap bit moving but I can't get the right angle to see what's lifting it, but it has now started to just push at the hole so and has made cracks at the edges (I can't take a pic just yet,but camera switched off while it cooled down I had the flash light on so long to be able to see inside the incubator)
It's been about almost 34 hours now since it pipped and it appears to me it hasn't really moved during that time. How good are the chances of it hatching on it's own now does anyone think?

not much luck, there's a fuzzy butt right in the way so that's all you can see if I try to take a pic
There is quite a big bit of shell that looks like it's close to coming off, one good push from her should probably do it, will see what things look like when that comes off....
Anyone had success with a duckling just bashing it's way out of the pointy end??

I think they said you could allow around 48 hours for rest, so it seems to be on schedule!

Does seem to be trying to get through the hole more now

ETA just been staring intently after getting the other two to move, whatever it is shiny and black (not awfully helpful when there's a few to choose from) but then I saw a flash of something thin and pink, guessing tongue? is it safe to assume that's the beak and it's not moved since making the first pip 35+ hours ago?

Sorry, I missed this until just now. That's true, it's easy to forget when the others are hatching around it. At least I've managed to confirm that that it's still aligned with it's pip, i think so can breath and that's a weight off in itself. It looks like it's trying to hatch now though but obviously the hole isn't big enough as it is, but then again I'm not a duck so it could be up to anything in there for all I can second guess

BP is currently in a really good position to see, and she is rapidly sticking her tongue in and out, like she is licking her lips if she had any. I will assume this is the 'yawning' or 'chewing' motion I read about that means she's still absorbing yolk, and hope that will keep her busy til morning if she can't just get out on her own.
