Lol, I'll be fishing another tournament in the morning with 20 to 30 mph winds. That's going to make for a physical and stressed out day. SW winds will be coming straight up Toledo Bend lake.

I took the screws off the vmc hooks and in the sh*t can they went. I just put em on the trokars.

Nice fish! Yea I don't do vmc's hooks, they bend to easy
They aren't nearly as sharp as the trokars or the gamakatsu hooks either. The trokars seem to penetrate better from what I've seen on just a few bass and crappie.

Had a few little crappie that I managed to hook that were just toying with a lizard

Don't take much to hook em but you know what I mean

Getting serious rain here. Rumbling thunder almost constant. Everything looks yellow-green. All of my pens have water standing in them, even pens on a grade. We have gotten better than 6" in the last 12 hours. If this keeps up I can fish by casting lures across road. Fish are moving up into flooding fields of corn.

Not fair you'd be fishing bait!

Corn is past the soakable stage as germinated although fish may come up for other stuff caught in floods. Lures that look like mice likely to be good but not be characterized as bait.
