I'm going to try this.If you trim your tomato vines (cutting the new offshoots) they produce fruit like crazy... So I take these those cuts and root them.
I can only start roots in hydroponic systems, but never grow anything to maturity. I rooted a bunch of sugar cane that way... If I had a good system with nutrients I could probably finish growing something.Have you tried hydroponic growing yet?
I think it is very interesting but I don't know much about it yet.
