I'm back! I didn't want to post during the squabbling and add fuel to the fire, but now that we're back to the regularly scheduled program I'll say I'm learning a lot!

Beth, about those dirty chickens you were talking about.

Let me tell ya, my older girls are filthy dirty and dust bathe all the time. The younger gals are still beautiful white, and they only occassionally dust bathe. I dunno what it is.....

Kathy- maybe the younger girls are like teens - looking at the adults and saying "yah, who wants to be like THEM!"

Mine just wallow away - they have so many little dirt pits under the coop, I am afraid it's going to fall over!

Is Shelleyb1969 from PA????? Did I spell that right?
