SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I made bagels once. I think they looked like that too! :D
First, I really appreciate the support. I feel bad about the way they look. I was afraid to post to be honest.
Second, the picture I saw actually looks like mine if not a little odder shaped. So I tried to comfort myself in the fact that I didn’t completely fail.
I will try again, and believe I’ll do much better. One recipe, no little one underfoot (at least I’ll wait until she’s in a cooperative mood), and I won’t try breads on a humid day again!

I never attempted to make them again so I applaud your efforts.
Also, I have never been a gourmet baker or cook. I have had many fails in the kitchen. I tried fun bday cakes like everyone else did for their kids. Fail - but oh look now it's Godzilla's playground. ;) My boys loved the failed cakes. :gig
My husband also like failures, he figures he gets to eat more that way because I will not share with friends. Lol

Alright, tonight's dish might be a bit frowned upon for some chicken lovers... But, we had an aspiring rooster in an area that does not allow it, so we asked a friend to raise it for the last six weeks and did a full on taste test!

Store bought on the top, organic on the bottom, and home grown on the left!
Not surprisingly, the store bought only had two good qualities. Easy to prep and easy to eat. The organic had better flavor but the home grown was the best. At 17 weeks, our cockerel was not very tough at all,but much smaller then the other two.
