SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

We have an old apple tree that has a couple of branches that need lopping off. I'm going to get some of the bigger parts and dry it out to try and smoke some meat. I've never done it before so it may be a bit haphazard! On my bbq it should take about 6 hrs at 250c to cook a 2 kg lump. I think. Any top tips?!
250C sounds a bit high for the temperature. Did you mean 250F?
