I prefer cast iron for quesadillas

I used a cast iron skillet, and even preheated it. I was expecting it to be dry-ish. The soggy surprised me.

Me too, weird. What did you put in it? It actually looks great!

I use cast iron never had soggy from it did it go in room temp or ice box
will make some white bread today

It’s only chicken tossed in taco seasoning, and sharp cheddar.

Nothing strange there. I dunno, maybe heating the pan created steam or you should have flipped it or not flipped or crossed your eyes and stuck out your tongue before you put it in the oven.
