Help!!
6 days ago I lost my sweet little cross break chick. Found her really lethargic and eating or drinking. She got sick soo fast. I figured it was because she wasn't eating like I thought she was. Tried everything to help her but she was just to sick. Yesterday morning went to feed the chicks and came into find another dead chick and two chicks not doing so well.

I've been watching them like a hawk, feeding and watering with a syringe. Seem to be doing better but really wanting any advice on what I can do to prevent it from happening to the other chicks I have left.

Heartbroken......

How old were the chicks? Coccidosis can be a real threat to young chicks. Some of the symptoms are lethargic, hunched or puffed up postrue, not eating, and diarrhea or blood in droppings. Corid (amprollium) in the water for 5 days is a good treatment if you think it could be coccidiosis. Here is a link about it to read:
