Yes, I can relate. I used to need three full days to recover after having local anaesthetics at the dentist.
But one day the allergic reactions including anaphylactic shocks started and ever since I will have to endure the prodecures without any anaestetics at all.

Well, it sounds like you may need to- I will say, there are 2 scenes FF over one is in the first episode- but over all it is very clean watching, a lot of history from 1912 - 19?30
