good morning, what a busy weekend,
Yesterday was chicken bath day, the first full washing these chickens have had. I have done hiney washes off and on but they needed the full deal.
Boy what a back killer but I got 9 hens washed, I didnt do the 2 broody hens or rooster.
I have tried to keep up with their feet but they all still have Brumble foot, not real bad but their feet are not clear. Rooster has cracked pads and I'll do a foot bath, hot water soak, trim off the dried/dead callous skin but I really dont know how to help him given they are in a dirt run?????? Research time...................

I did add

this to their water and will do a week of it.
It was 44 when I got up and will be 90 out at 4pm, I want to get moving and get the watering done early.

Happy Wednesday night,
its 85 out,
I cultivated as much as I could in the garden till 1:30, it was just to hot out.
I came in and cooled off for a while and then went to the coop to give my flock fresh cool water. The temp in there is 90. I took the laundry down off the line, heated DH up some leftover spaghetti and laid out the sage on the front porch.
After it cools down I'll go down and water the corn.
Ya'll have a good night,

PS
if its 90 in the coop, hows that affect the eggs the hen is sitting on??
Whats to hot?
