Not as much recovery as I feel he could have had.

As he says he "IS A MOUNTAIN MAN" and this makes him angry that he can't do what he used to do.

It is very sad to watch.
I'm so very sorry. Time and physical therapy help. Hopefully he can get some abilities back with time and effort.

:hugs :hugs :hugs

Yes, it truly is.

Is he unwilling or rather not satisfied with the physical and speech therapy?
Sometimes the willingness to seriously engage and participate longterm and the progress made also depends on the therapists one has to work with. At least that is what I witnessed with my DH.

After the second serious stroke he refused to go to stroke rehab again (after the first he spend there almost 8 weeks in addition to the weeks at the hospital) so we did the exercises and speech therapy at home and invented a few of our own to add some variety and entertainment.

Of course, the bouts of anger and frustration arise every so often as many men define themselves and their self worth through their physical strength, manual skills and abilities.

But declining strength and skills also come with age and we all will have to accept and adapt to it some way or other

Therapy was essential to my wife's recovery. She was frequently frustrated by it but she was determined. In the end she did very well fortunately.

I'd run out of rags. :gig

I also need to get a lot of it off the hardware cloth that covers all the coop and run openings.
I rinse the tags out in a bucket of water so i can keep using it but my coops are not that large. I would use a hose for what's on the hardware cloth and just spray it off.

:caf 🥱

do you hear that????
yep the pot is done dripping!!
Coffees Ready,

I got the coop cleaned up and open at 5:30, its 1/4 light out,, let the soaker hose run all night,,
