I did not get any notifications and haven't been on here much as DH suffered several strokes which changed my priorities.

Obviously, I missed a lot these past years.

I'm so sorry to hear about the strokes. My wife had a severe stroke and some smaller TIAs. Were they small TIAs or full blown strokes?

Very sorry to hear about your wife! I hope she has recovered and is able to enjoy life again.

With DH it was both, several lighter and two severe strokes.

I would love to have a gas stove, but want to keep an electric oven.

I get why you say that. We replaced our electric stove/ oven combo with a gas stove top and an electric double oven when we remodeled our kitchen and my wife just loves having the best of both.

I'm not sure. I know sauerkraut does, raw does. DH is NOT a fan of cabbage and would never consent to having it cooked in the kitchen, due to the smell.

I'm trying to get stuffed cabbage for dinner now. I just love it and it's been too long. Wish me luck. Maybe for Sunday dinner. I just love cabbage as well.

How is he doing? My wife has mostly recovered but she was very young when it happened.

We had a cucumber get away from us, too big and too old. So chicken food.
